The Twelfth Vote

You are the twelve jurors locked in a stifling room, and eleven of you already voted to convict — one holdout refuses. The verdict must be unanimous by dawn or a mistrial frees a possibly-innocent, possibly-guilty person, and each of you is hiding a private reason for the way you leaned. Break each other down: who is protecting the truth, and who is protecting themselves?
